Recycling and Beyond
As part of Byrkley Garden Centre’s efforts to be a “green” business we
are recycling as much as we can.
All members of the Byrkley team recycle the following products which are stored in suitable containers and collected from us for recycling:
Paper, Cardboard, Clear & Coloured Polythene, Plastic, Tins, Polystyrene, Glass, Metal, Plastic Plant Pots & Trays, Printer Cartridges and Rainwater (for our irrigation).
We also offer a recycling service to our customers for the following items, which are also collected from us for recycling:
- General Batteries - Tubs located at Reception & Exit
- Clothes & Shoes - Skip located near Entrance to Centre in conjunction with the British Heart Foundation
- Books & Magazines - Skip located near Entrance to Centre in conjunction with the British Heart Foundation
- Christmas Cards - Bin available at Reception after Christmas in conjunction with the Woodland Trust
- Real Christmas Trees - Collection point in car park in January
